HOW DO I PLACE A CUSTOM ORDER?
Please visit the Custom Orders tab. Fill out the order request form and submit. I will email you with your price quote within 72 hours. If you have a specific budget, please indicate in the notes along with any other pertinent information that you wish to pass along.
HOW MUCH NOTICE DO I NEED TO ORDER COOKIES?
For custom orders, please allow 2+ week notice. Based on my booked orders and supplies on hand, I may be able to accommodate shorter lead times.
WHAT IS A PRE-ORDER?
Pre-orders are holiday sets which are selected by me. They will be photographed and posted on my website prior to an upcoming holiday. The custom order minimums do not apply for the holiday pre-orders. This allows you to reserve a spot in advance for holiday gifts and celebrations.
WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?
Payment is due within 48 hours of an invoice being sent. Cookie orders are not considered booked until a 50% deposit or full payment is made.
HOW LONG DO YOUR COOKIES STAY FRESH?
Since the cookies contain no preservatives, I would recommend enjoying them within 1 week after pickup. After a week, the cookies might not be as soft. If you wish to keep them longer, refer to the section below on how to freeze.
HOW SHOULD I STORE MY COOKIES AFTER PICKUP?
Store them in the sealed cello packaging or in an airtight container (if the cello bag has been removed). Cookies should be stored on the counter. If your event is outdoors, keep them away from direct sunlight. The cookies should not be refrigerated. If you are not going to serve them within the next few days, I recommend freezing them to ensure their utmost freshness.
CAN I FREEZE YOUR COOKIES?
Absolutely yes! Sugar cookies freeze remarkably well. Customers may consider this option if I am unavailable for the exact date they desire. If you follow these instructions, there is no harm to the cookies: 1) place the cookies in their heat sealed bag or in a zip lock bag; 2) Carefully place the zip lock bag in an airtight container (i.e. Tupperware, Rubbermaid, etc.) and seal tightly; 3) Remove from freezer and allow to thaw on the counter overnight or a few hours before serving; and most important 4) Do not open the container until completely thawed as this step prevents condensation from damaging the cookies. You will know when the cookies are completely thawed when the bottom of the container is not cold to the touch.
DO YOU OFFER GLUTEN FREE, SUGAR FREE, NUT FREE OR VEGAN OPTIONS?
No. My kitchen is not gluten free, sugar free, nut free or dairy free.
CAN YOU SHIP YOUR COOKIES?
My cookies are for local pick up only. I unable to directly ship my cookies under the Arizona Cottage Food Program.
